Emerging Technology, Part 1

My article, "Light-Field Photography" was about a now affordable light field camera that captures everything in a photo with detail. After the photo is taken, the camera allows you to adjust the focus. Lytro is planning on making this camera do much more than it already can. Things such as taking a 3D photo. Lytro is also exploring a video camera that could be focused after shots were taken. What surprised me the most is that after a photo is taken, you can adjust the focus. The possibilities for the future in this field are endless. Soon, a camera could come out that allows you to make 3D movies in your own house without any special software.
